After a summer of software development, live streaming, and losing more Go games than I care to remember, it's time for a relaxing break. With a successful Vengastream in the books and Air Mirth One landed successfully in Mallorca, this is a fine opportunity.
Unfortunately, this business is unstoppable! As such, open source work will continue with Source Tortoise, and the State of the Mirth Turtle 2025 Powerpoint is still to come. (2024's here) We'll broadcast from the new corporate HQ, chronicling all the successes and failures of the last year. The HQ itself falls under both categories.
Maybe then, this turtle can hibernate for the winter. DO turtles do that? I need to check the Wikipedia. (UPDATE: they brumate, which is similar!)

I love the concept of offices, but these days, it seems harder and harder to access one. While this yearning may have had some influence on a new office-themed Go experience, it would be an oversimplification to say it was borne of pandemic-induced business psychosis. There were many influences.
I can certainly understand why bosses want their employees back in the office. The lounges and breakout areas would seem so lonely without subservient employees milling about, and it's much harder to yell at disposable underlings over video call. But, as an employee, I'd still rather experience all that virtually in an immersive, interactive 3d environment. (don't worry, I haven't implemented any yelling mechanics)

With technology advancing so fast these days, it's hard to believe the game of Go is still relevant at all. And yet, that two-dimensional pastime is more fun than ever, thanks to AI analysis and wild new experimental 3d experiences.
Speaking of, I've got a new project in the works that's certain to delight. Within a new virtual company headquarters, I'm building a Go experience so big, it needs its own room.
More details to come once I've finished up with the corporate tax season. Ah, if only someone would create an immersive 3d accounting experience... NO, I have to stay focused right now.
Mirth Turtle exists to propagate mirth, promote the game of Go, and achieve success in business.
